Question
Why isn't my sensor working? There is an error message "Device is drawing too much current. Check for cable shorts."
Answer
This error indicates that your device is drawing more current from the field unit (C3 or Solo) port than it normally would. This usually occurs if there is a short-circuit. Unplug the device immediately, and check if there is any damage to the cabling or the device itself. If your sensor has bare wires plugged into a port, make sure none of the wires are in contact. Replace any damaged cabling or sensor.
