Answer
To set up or change notification thresholds, go to the flow meter's device page on Manage Equipment and set the values in the Notification Threshold configuration page.
Overview
To set up or change alert thresholds for Flow meters, go to Manage Equipment from the welcome page.
In Manage Equipment, you will see all Portfolios, Sites, Field Units and Devices that you have access to. Click on the Flow meter you want. In this example, you would click on Flow Sensor:
On the device screen, click on Notification Thresholds.

Remember to check that you have registered the phone number/email address that should receive the alert in the Alerts page. Otherwise, no alerts will be sent. For instructions see this article.
Flow alert parameters
LOW FLOW RATE: the minimum instantaneous flow measurement, extrapolated to megalitres per day. Decimal points are allowed. For example, if you want to be alerted if the flow ever goes below 1L/min then you would enter 0.00144 ML/day. Leave blank if the flow is not continuous and you don't want false alerts.
HIGH FLOW RATE: the maximum instantaneous flow measurement, extrapolated to megalitres per day. Decimal points are allowed. For example, if you want to be alerted if the flow ever goes above 1000L/min then you would enter 0.72 ML/day. Leave blank if you don't want related alerts.
HIGH DAILY FLOW: the maximum total flow per day, expressed in megalitres. Decimal points are allowed. For example, if you want to be alerted if the total daily flow exceeds 500L then you would enter 0.0005ML. Leave blank if you don't want related alerts.
MAX NO FLOW TIME: the maximum duration between flow events, expressed in hours. Decimal points are allowed. For example, if you expect the flow should never stop for more than 30 minutes then you would enter 0.5h. Leave blank if you don't want related alerts.
