Recommended Maintenance
Per Schedule
- Inspect the status of each unit online, confirming that:
- Equipment state is as expected (open, closed, in error etc)
- Battery is healthy with more than 60% SOC
- Using 'Manage Equipment, verify that the 'Last Contacted' time is no more than 30 minutes ago
Regular Weekly, Bi-Weekly System Review
- Inspect the status of each unit, confirming that:
- Equipment state is as expected (open, closed, in error etc)
- Battery is healthy with more than 60% SOC
- Using 'Manage Equipment, verify that the 'Last Contacted' time is no more than 30 minutes ago
- Battery charging is healthy, via 'Manage Equipment' check that daily average supply is more than daily average demand
- Actuator communications are error free
- Any other errors are fully investigated
- Faulty equipment is reported and corrected
Monthly Physical Maintenance
The customer should expect to invest 15-30 minute for each unit on a regular basis to perform routine and preventative maintenance.
- Physical inspection of every equipment site
- opening the C3 enclosure
- checking for any ants or moisture
- replacing the pest baits etc
- making sure the cables are in order and no sign of damage
- wiping the solar panels with a damp cloth to ensure no obscuring
Pre Season (1 month prior)
- Coordinate with PSP to activate equipment
- Physical inspection of every equipment site
- As above for "Monthly Physical Maintenance"
- checking each unit's battery state of charge and solar input
- Operate actuator locally
- Operate in 'dry' schedule
- Ensure all non-operational equipment is reported and corrected
Post Season
- Coordinate with PSP to hibernate equipment in an orderly fashion in line with guidance from Observant
- Any other preventative maintenance to improve longevity of equipment
- Disconnecting actuator etc
