To prevent accidental power-down of a Solo+ unit, the process to switch off the unit consists of two presses of the power button, with specific timing.
- Remove all power sources from the unit (plug pack or solar panel input).
- Briefly press and release the power button.
- Wait one second.
- Press and hold the power button until the unit issues one long beep and all indicator lights turn off.
- Release the power button and confirm that all the indicator lights are off, signifying that the unit has powered down.
